Nick made me a deal this weekend. He said if I went and saw the new Star Wars animated movie, see link below, he would take me to any restaurant I wanted to go to. So of course I took the deal!! Anything to go to GoodWood for dinner.

I think I got the better end of the deal. The movie was OK. The first part with the battles was very fast and cool, but then towards the end it slowed way down. I had trouble paying attention. So if you are a Star Wars GEEK like Nick, you will probably like it and should see it in the theater. If you only have a slight interest, wait until you can rent it. In fact, Nick liked it so much he wanted to go see it again at the drive-in. Luckily I dodged that bullet. :)

Date Night at GoodWood restaurant
Nick and I had a date night yesterday. We ran a few errands then went to dinner a great restaurant! I told Nick and I wanted to go to a new place. So I suggested that we go to GoodWood in Riverdale. I tried it in Provo when I went to Women's Conference.
What a GREAT place to eat!! The baby back ribs and pulled pork were the best!!!!!!! But the best thing was the service. We ordered an appetizer, and after a while our waitress asked if it had come out yet. We were not worried, about it because we didn't have anywhere to go. The next thing we knew, the manager came over and was apologizing that our appetizer took 12 minutes to come out. He said that was not how they did things there and that he would pay for our appetizer because it took so long to get to us. Wow! We were very surprised, and impressed that the manager would come and do that, and know how long it took for something to get to a table.
We both tried the baby back ribs, and pulled pork. YUMMY! I also tried the smoked turkey breast and Nick tried the barbecue chicken. Lots of food, it is great the next day! :)
