Great things are hapening in Spokane!

My Sister, who lives in Spokane, told us some great news about her oldest son Cody and her youngest daughter Megan.

Cody and a group from school won a trip to Washington DC and some money for a video about computer recycling on youtube.com. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrxPqCAjx_w)

Megan and her group from school won $1,000 for their video presentation.

Nick and I are so proud of them just like their parents. It is so fun to see them growing up and doing amazing things!

Sunday Evening at Nick's Parents

Today Nick and I had dinner at his parent's house. His Father found an old home video of Nick when he was about 2 yrs old, and his little brother when he was just a few months old. Nick was so cute when he was little.

While I am updating our blog, Nick and his brother Brandon are playing Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii. In Super Smash Bros for the Game Cube, Nick's favorite character is Link. He currently doesn't have a favorite for Brawl, but I am sure he will find one.

When we got Super Smash Bros for the Game Cube, I learned how to play using Kirby. Now that we have the Brawl for the Wii, I also use Kirby and I can usually hold my own when playing with the boys.

April Conference

Another General Conference weekend has passed. It was a wonderful conference, with many wonderful talks and messages. I look forward to reading the talks in the May Ensign.

Today My family got together inbetween the conference sessions to have lunch and to watch the last session. We had our favorite meal! Homemade chicken noodle soup, with homemade egg noodles, over freshly made mashed potatoes. YUMMY!!! :) I helped my mother make the noodles last night to let them dry overnight. My little sister and her family, and my oldest brother's family came over to enjoy lunch and eachother's company.

I am very grateful to be so close to my family, and to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am blessed to be sealed to my Husband for all time and eternity. I know that President Monson is a Prophet of God here to lead Christ's Children. I hope that one day that my Husband and I will be able to share our love of the gosple to our children.

High's and Low's

On March 18th, Heather's sister gave birth to her second child and first son. Royce was 9lbs 6oz and was 22 inches long when he was born. He also had a ton of red hair! It's been lots of fun to have him around, although I can't wait until he starts developing a personality.



On March 22nd we receved a phone call saying that one of Nick's cousins had been killed in a skiing accident. This has been hard for the entire family to deal with. She was a beautiful young woman and is truly missed. The Funeral was held on March 27th, it was a beautiful meeting.

Very Busy!

Nick and I have been very busy the last little while, so I have not been able to get on and write anything. I hope I can catch up on the blog this weekend.

Disney's Phineas and Ferb

Star Wars: The Clone Wars
